Germany star Thomas Muller has hailed the national side's incredible 'reservoir' of players after a second string side won the Confederations Cup.
Muller was one of a host of regulars left at home by Germany, along with regular captain and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil, and Mats Hummels.
Despite this the world champions came out on top, and the Bayern Munich forward said he was impressed by the strength in depth his country possesses.

A second string Germany side - without Muller and other stars - won the Confederations Cup
Lars Stindl's goal handed Germany a 1-0 victory over South American champions Chile
Muller told L'Equipe: 'I really enjoyed watching them play. They're all good players. They travelled to Russia and came together to form a team. This shows that we have a reservoir of incredible players.'
Germany topped a group featuring Chile, Cameroon and Australia, before cruising past Mexico 4-1 in the semi-finals.
They then faced South American champions Chile again in the final, and won 1-0 thanks to Lars Stindl's goal.
Many of the senior call-ups for the Confederations Cup came from the Germany under-21s, who were left depleted for the European Championships.
Yet, just like the senior side, this did not stop them winning 1-0 in the final, against Spain, to lift the trophy.
Germany's under-21s were similarly depleted, but still won the European Championships
