Middle-age ATV rider accused of damaging Worcester's Crystal Park

WORCESTER — A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of tearing up the grounds of Crystal Park Wednesday night.

Police were called to the park about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday to help another officer deal with a disorderly person, who was reportedly riding an ATV all around the park. When the officers got there, they saw a man standing next to an ATV.

The man was arrested and identified as Francisco Torres, of 58 Chatham St. He was charged with trespassing with a motorized vehicle, defacement of public property and driving a recreational vehicle negligently.
