A Newport Beach California surgeon who graduated from Lafayette High School and a female accomplice believed to be his girlfriend face charges for drugging and sexually assaulting two women and possibly dozens of others.
The Orange County DA’s office says 38-year old Grant William Robicheaux and 31-year old Cerissa Laura Riley met one woman in April, 2016 at a Newport Beach restaurant.
The woman says the two drugged and raped her after a night of drinking.
Officials say in October, 2016 the couple met another woman at a Newport Beach bar and drank with her until she was unconscious.
The woman says she woke up after they sexually assaulted her.
Neither of the victims were patients of Robicheaux, but authorities are investigating whether or not he assaulted any of his patients.
They are reviewing videos and photos found on Robicheaux’s phone that may involve additional victims.
