Myisha J. Cummings, 20, of Rome, was charged with second-degree criminal sex act, a felony, Oneida County deputies said.

ROME, N.Y. -- A Rome woman has been charged with second-degree criminal sex act, a felony, according to sheriff’s deputies with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Myisha J. Cummings, 20, was arrested Thursday for an incident involving a 14-year-old girl, deputies said. The incident occurred in the summer of 2018, deputies said.

Cummings was held at the Rome Police Department lockup pending arraignment in Rome City Court.

An order of protection was requested for the victim against Cummings. The victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
