Pete Weber's Bowling Freak Out

(WSCR) Peter Weber may not be a household name, but he's been stirring up drama on the PBA Tour for 32 years.

The 49-year-old Weber had been criticized this year for being too old to bowl competitively. Weber silenced those critics when he won his PBA-record fifth U.S. Open.

"I love the people that think I'm washed up," Weber said to reporters. "I've bowled better this year than I probably have in the other 32 years of my life on tour. I have something to prove that these young kids are not taking over.

"Everybody keeps asking me, 'When are you going to retire, grandpa? Do you need a cane?' I'm like, 'you know what? ... ' "

He finished the sentence by holding up the middle finger on each hand, and smiled.
