Philadelphia-born guitarist Mike Polizze is taking a breather from the noise punk outfit Birds of Maya, to focus on a more structured approach on his upcoming Purling Hiss release for Woodsist Records, Public Service Announcement. The 12-song LP is scheduled to hit the street on October 26th.
Purling Hiss will also be going out on tour to coincide with the album release, beginning on October 19th in Charlottesville, VA, and sharing select dates with The Soft Pack/Kurt Vile tour and Jaill. The tour is scheduled to hit Polizze’s hometown of Philadelphia on November 26th, and wrap up in New York City on December 3rd.
