Relief Coming To Area Affected By Sewer Backup In West Hartford

The Metropolitan District updated residents on plans to fix the sewer line after a backup caused wastewater flooding earlier this month.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — After weeks of dealing with the effects of a sewer backup, which included flooded basements and wastewater spilling out into the street, residents of Linbrook Road in West Hartford will begin seeing some relief next week, according to NBC Connecticut.

NBC reports officials from the Metropolitan District told residents at a meeting Wednesday night that the road should be back to normal by the end of the month and crews will be out next week to finish fixing the sewer line.
