San Jose Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder

The man who was found dead has not been identified at this point.

SAN JOSE, CA -- A 41-year-old man was killed and a 25-year-old suspect arrested in a homicide on Tuesday evening in San Jose, police reported. Police went to conduct a welfare check in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street at 6:39 p.m. and found a man lying on the floor with at least
one stab wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office. Suspect Terry Leelewis Hill, a San Jose resident, returned to the
scene and was taken into custody today, police said.

He was booked into Santa Clara County jail without bail on suspicion of murder.
