What, like it's hard?

Just like your baby brother, Kim Kardashian is (maybe) heading back to school this fall. This according to her sometimes truth-bending husband, Kanye West. The rapper told Extra TV that Kardashian "is in law school now," when asked about his wife's interest in reforming the nation's prison systems. "It's extremely serious to us," he added.

Because Kanye is Kanye, we'll take this bit of information with a Herculean grain of salt. After all, Kardashian doesn't have a bachelor's degree, a requirement for most institutions of higher learning. While every school is different, most have firm restrictions regarding who can or cannot audit a class, let alone apply.

That said, perhaps an exception might be made for a case like Kardashian. Not every applicant has a meeting with the president on their resume, after all. Plus, the reality star-cum-prison reform advocate has been working successfully sans degree on the case of Alice Marie Johnson, who was granted clemency by President Trump earlier this summer.

But her desire to attend law school didn't just materialize out of thin air. Way back in 2016, the mom-of-three told Wonderland that “if things slow down and I had time, I really wanna go to law school," adding that it would be "just something I can do in my older age." Some people have knitting. Kardashian has law school.

Let's also not forget that Kardashian's dad, the late Robert Kardashian was also kind of a big deal in the law community back in the day. You may have heard of a little case called The People vs. O.J. Simpson. Yeah. In the same Wonderland interview, the 37-year-old mentioned the possibility of interning with the team of Johnnie Cochran, who worked with her dad on the case and with whom she's remained close.

Last year, Kardashian told her followers on Snapchat that she received the highest of compliments from her attorney, Mike Kump, according to People. He told her, "You’ve got the perfect instincts, you’ve got great judgment, and you know how to present your position in the most articulate manner and convince people of your point of view.”

He added, "Will you please join my law firm?" All in a day's work.
