Library Announces Digital Photo Contest

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Public Library is holding a photo contest to give local photographers the opportunity to show off their art, some of which will find its way onto the library’s walls.

Sheldon Public Library Director Nicole Morgan says the photo contest is open to photos of anything having to do with Sheldon.

Morgan says the judging of the high-definition digital photos will be conducted by the Library’s Board.

She tells us where the idea for the contest originated.

Morgan calls the library’s photo contest a great opportunity for photographers to show off their work.

Digital photos submitted should be of sufficiently high resolution to be blown up to about a 2-foot by 3-foot size, and must be submitted to the Sheldon Public Library by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 19th.
