Carson City road report for Oct. 15-21; Curry Street to close completely in project zone for milling and paving
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Oct. 15-21. Work continues on the Downtown Curry Streetscape Project. Among plans this week are:
— Beginning Monday, Oct. 15 Curry Street will be completely closed for milling and paving through Oct. 25. No parking on Curry during milling and paving.
— Concrete work is ongoing on Curry, Telegraph and Alley, Robinson and Spear Streets.
— Sidewalk pavers ongoing on Curry-Telegraph to Robinson.
— Utility work ongoing on Musser and tie-ins in various locations.
— Pedestrians will be limited to sidewalks and marked crossings as equipment will be moving back and forth on the street.
— Waterline work on Monday and Tuesday at Robinson and Curry.
— Expect night closures on Curry and side street throughout the week.
— Intermittent closures of Nevada St.

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road, utility work.
— Intersection of Clear Creek Avenue and Center Drive will be closed, Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Clear Creek Avenue will be closed between Center Drive and Snyder Avenue, Monday through Sunday, all hours.
— North Ormsby Boulevard, Combs Canyon Road will be closed between Dartmouth Drive and Robb Drive, Monday through Friday, all hours.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work.
— Nichols Lane will have reduced lanes between U.S. 50 and Carmine Street, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Kings Canyon Road will have reduced lanes between Custer Circle and Canyon Drive, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— South Edmonds Drive will have intermittent single-lane closures between Fairview Drive and De Ann Drive, Monday through Sunday, all hours.
