The former Kabras Sugarman signed a one year contract that will see him play for the team from central France where he hopes to develop even further.

Earlier this week, Rugby Cranes fullback Philip Wokorach made the big move to French Fédérale 3 Rugby side Bourges where he hopes to pave a way into the professional ranks.

"This move is a step up financially though the money is just an addition but mostly for me, the exposure is the best of it all. I have always strived and aimed to play professional rugby. This is another positive step towards that goal," Wokorach told the New Vision.

The Fédérale 3 is the fifth tier of French rugby and it comprises 226 clubs in pools of eight. Winners of this division can progress to Fédérale 2. Bourges currently occupy the second place they have played 3 matches and won all second only to Causse Vézère.

"This opportunity means a lot to me and it's a positive step towards achieving my dream. My future plan is to play in one of the biggest rugby competitions in the world say top 14, Pro 14 or super rugby," he remarked.

He joined up with his teammates earlier this week and is expected to make his debut very soon. For now Wokorach has plans to show everyone in Bourges his brand of Rugby and hopefully, it will help propel him towards professional.
