Trump says he still has ‘Rocket Man’ CD for Kim Jong Un

It could still be a long, long time.

President Donald Trump said he has the “Rocket Man” CD that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was unable to deliver to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un when he traveled to Pyongyang last week.

“They didn’t give it. I have it for him. They didn’t give it,” Trump told reporters as he left the White House Tuesday for meetings in Europe. “But it will be given at a certain period – I actually do, I actually do have a little gift for him, but you’ll find out what that gift is when I give it.”

Trump signed a copy of Elton John’s “Honky Chateau” album that contains the “Rocket Man” song for Pompeo to present to Kim, but the secretary of state didn’t get the chance to meet with the Hermit Kingdom’s leader.

Trump nicknamed Kim “Rocket Man” when he was threatening to fire missiles at the United States and its allies in the region.
