Police say this man robbed a bank in South Jersey

ALLOWAY TWP. -- New Jersey State Police have released photos they say are of the man who robbed the Alloway branch of Fulton Bank on Tuesday.

Authorities say they are seeking the public's help in catching the suspect.

About 10:45 a.m. Tuesday the man walked into the bank on the corner of South Greenwich Street and Alloway-Friesburg Road in downtown Alloway and demanded cash from tellers, state police say.

After being given an undisclosed amount of money the man fled.

The suspect is described as a short, heavy-set white male in his mid to late 40s with gray scruffy facial hair, authorities said. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue denim jeans and sunglasses, according to police.

Police on Tuesday said no weapon was displayed by the robber.

No one was injured in the incident, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Woodstown State Police Station's Criminal Investigations Office at 856-769-0779. Tips can remain anonymous, police say.
