The Palace Theatre in Manchester is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for opening night of “A Christmas Carol.”
Actor Charles Shaughnessy, best known for his role in the TV show "The Nanny" is starring as Ebeneezer Scrooge.
Shaughnessy said all of the local actors have made him feel right at home.
“It's a really fun show. It's a really fun character. It's a great piece. It's sort of both joyful and a story of redemption. (A) terrific redemption story. So it's great for the holidays. It's great for all time of year,” Shaughnessy said.
The show starts Friday night and runs through Dec. 23.
