New York City taxis are about to get even wilder.

“Cash Cab,” the Emmy-winning reality competition show that ran from 2005 to 2012, will return to Discovery Channel later this year, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

For more than 200 episodes, host Ben Bailey picked up unsuspecting locals and tourists and awarded them with cash for each correct answer to his pop quiz.

Contestants were allowed to make phone calls for help or ask someone on the street.

Bailey was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards for outstanding game show host, winning in 2010, 2011 and 2013. “Cash Cab” won for outstanding game show in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

“Cash Cab” is reportedly returning to Discovery Channel, but without host Ben Bailey.

He won’t be returning as host in the reboot, however.

Instead, comedians and movie and TV stars will take turns behind the wheel, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

All3 Media’s Lion USA will return as executive producers.

“Cash Cab” joins a number of recently revived game shows, including “Battle of the Network Stars,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Match Game,” “The $100,000 Pyramid,” “The Gong Show” and “Love Connection.”
