A savage Montana murderer lethally stabbed two people, dismembered their corpses and then tried to cover up his heinous acts by attempting to dissolve his victims in acid.

Augustus Standingrock of Missoula, Mont., pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide and accountability to deliberate homicide on Dec. 14 for the murders of 24-year-old Jackson Wiles and 15-year-old Marilyn Pickett, reported NBC News.

Standingrock, 26, will likely be sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors believe Standingrock thought Wiles was sexually abusing a young girl and the victims were killed at the home of co-defendant Tiffanie Pierce, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of deliberate homicide.

In the Dec. 14 court hearing, Standingrock told District Judge James Wheelis he stabbed Wiles and Pierce killed Pickett, reported the Missoulian.

Standingrock told Wheelis that Pickett had tried to escape the home and then handed a knife to Pierce, who attacked the teen.

Pierce’s roommate told cops he was awakened to a woman’s screams in August 2017, court records indicate. The unidentified man said he saw Pierce and Standingrock washing blood off themselves in the bathroom. Pierce then told him a dead woman was in the basement.

The two suspects dismembered the victims’ bodies and attempted to dissolve them in tubs of chemicals Pierce bought, said prosecutors. Officials said the coroner needed DNA and dental records to identify the remains.
