Ryan Fitzpatrick had the nerdiest offseason job in the NFL

New Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard. You knew that, right? Of course you did!

Here’s something you may not have known, that is perhaps connected to his Crimson connection: He’s a Rubik’s Cube enthusiast. And it turns out while he was waiting for his next NFL job, he had another vocation: He taught a Rubik’s Cube class. He told his former teammate Willie Colon about it in an SNY interview earlier this month around the 40-second mark:

And here’s an interview with Fitzpatrick about his love of the Cube. It turns out he took another offseason to learn how to do it, and adds that it became “a little bit of an obsession”:

That’s awesome … and so perfect for the guy who went to Harvard.
