N-Dubz fans were up in arms after Dappy allegedly made fans wait for almost four hours at a gig, only to perform for 11 minutes.

The rapper, who was one-third of N-Dubz, had been booked to perform at Oaklands Pool Hall in Cinderford last night and excited fans had waited since 8.30pm to see him perform.

Best known for songs such as Number One, fans were reportedly told to expect him at around 11pm, but the rapper didn’t show up until 12:15am, according to Gloucestershire Live.

The No Regrets hitmaker allegedly dropped his microphone and walked off stage after just 11 minutes.

Sam Jones, who was attending the gig, wrote on Instagram that she’s been a Dappy fan since the start of his career, writing: ‘I cannot explain my disappointment about how he treated his fans last night.

‘The fact he kept his fans waiting 4 hours – sang on stage for all of 11 mins – dropped the mic and walked off.

‘Your fans deserved a “thank you and goodnight,” not for you to walk off stage like you had an attitude problem.

‘Dappy needs to remember that is fans like the ones that he let down last night that kept him afloat when no one else would give him a chance in his music career.’

She concluded: ‘Very disappointed. I thought he was a humble, grounded man.’

Many other fans shared their disappointment on social media, with one user mocking the large fan fury.

A user on Twitter wrote: ‘Everyone complaining about Dappy what do you except when you have paid £11 to see a Chavy has been at your local snooker club[sic].’

Dappy later posted a statement on his official Twitter account rubbishing the reports, claiming he was ‘not booked for a concert.’

The statement reads: ‘Please do not believe these false reports about the show last night. I was NOT booked for a concert! The promoter/venue had CONTRACTUALLY booked me for a CLUB PA which is exactly what I delivered (6 songs and bot 3).

‘The CONTRACTED stage time was 11:30pm and NOT 8:30pm. My team and I had no idea you were told any differently..’, the statement continues. ‘We arrived at the agreed time and only got delayed by 15mins as the venue had not set up the stage so we had to wait backstage until it was sorted.’

He also added in his statement that he hung around for 30/40 mins outside the venue to take pictures with his fans, and ensured his followers he ‘forever appreciates’ them.
