Press Release - Michael Lambrese Installed as the 2019 President of the Northern Board of REALTORS®

REALTOR® Michael Lambrese, of RE/MAX Town & Country in Cumberland, was installed as the 2019 President of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® on September 20, 2019 at Venue 131 in Cumberland, RI.

Mr. Lambrese has been a member of the REALTOR® Association for 11 years.  He has held the positions of President-Elect, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2015.   He currently serves on the Board’s Executive, Finance and Nominating Committees and previously served on its Program Committee.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the RI Association of REALTORS® and is an active member of his community. He is a graduate of Roger Williams University.

Additionally, the Board installed the following 2019 Officers:

- Christopher Whitten of Premeer Real Estate, Inc. in Johnston as President-Elect

- Robert Williamson of Residential Properties, Ltd. in Cumberland as Treasurer

- Mary Ellen Rose of Fontaine Real Estate in Woonsocket as Corporate Secretary

The Board also installed the following Directors:  Peter Dufresne, Immediate Past President, of Spectrum Real Estate Consultants of Keller Williams Leading Edge in Lincoln; Mary Baron of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cumberland; Duane Boucher of Boucher Real Estate in Woonsocket; Michele Cerreta of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cumberland; Brendan Duckworth of Keller Williams Northern RI in Lincoln; Anne McCrann of Premeer Real Estate, Inc. in Johnston; Alexander Parmenidez of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Warwick; Arianne Tanasio of Tanasio Realty Advisors in Lincoln.

At the Annual Meeting, Chris Whitten, of Premeer Real Estate, Inc. in Johnston, was recognized as the Board’s 2018 REALTOR® of the Year.  The 2018 Golden R Award was presented to Peter Dufresne of Spectrum Real Estate Consultants of Keller Williams Leading Edge in Lincoln.  This award is presented to a REALTOR® member who has consistently demonstrated dedicated service and support over the years and is regularly engaged in Board meetings.  Rookie of the Year Award was presented to 2018 Corporate Secretary Robert Williamson of Residential Properties, Ltd. in Cumberland. This award may be presented annually to a newer REALTOR® member of the Board with less than 5 years of service who has demonstrated dedicated service and support and is regularly engaged with the Board. The third and final award that was presented was the Richard Fontaine Award and was presented to Dave Serpa of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cumberland. Dave served as the Board’s 2016 President and has served his final year as a Director as of 2018. This award may be presented annually to a Director who has demonstrated distinguished service to the Board.
