2 Dead In Separate Renton Car Crashes

RENTON, WA - Two people died over the weekend in Renton in separate car crashes, according to Renton police. One crash involved a pedestrian, the other a two-car crash along Carr Road.

On Sunday night, at least one person died in a wreck along Carr Road near Valley Medical Center. The driver was speeding, according to police, when he crossed the center line and hit a vehicle occupied by two people. The causing driver died at the scene.

Early Saturday morning, a pedestrian died while crossing Sunset Boulevard outside of a crosswalk. The pedestrian was drunk, according to police. The driver was not under the influence.
