A look at the top performers in Week 2 of the Arizona high school boys basketball season, brought to you each week by Culver's.

B.J. Burries, Globe, G, Sr.

He had 45 points, surpassing the 2,500 mark in his career, in a win over Superior. He made 10 of 10 free throws and had six steals. In a win over Willcox, he had 29 points, eight assist and five steals.

Also this week:

Shemar Morrow, Shadow Mountain, F, Jr.

He had 18 points, many of those coming after offensive rebounds, to keep Shadow Mountain in contention in the loss to Pinnacle.

Kiimani Holt, Scottsdale Rancho Solano Prep, G, Jr.

In a 76-47 win over last year's 3A runnerup team, Lakeside Blue Ridge, he had 33 points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals. He made 3 of 6 3-pointers and 15 of 23 field goals and scored his 1,000th career point.

Nico Mannion, Phoenix Pinnacle, G, Sr.

With two defenders in his face, he banked in a 3-point buzzer beater to beat visiting Phoenix Shadow Mountain 82-80 and end the Matadors' 73-game winning streak against Arizona opponents. Mannion finished with 37 points, 18 in the third quarter.

Xavier Hendrix, Tucson Arizona College Prep, G, So.

He had 23 points and made 7 of 10 3-point  shots in a 58-57 win over Tucson Tanque Verde. He added four rebounds and a steal.

Jacob Leslie, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center, F, Jr.

In a 57-50 1A win over North Valley Christian, the 6-5 Leslie had a triple-double: 13 points, 12 rebounds, 13 blocked shots.

Terrence Green, Phoenix Carl Hayden, F, Jr.

Green had 18 points, 18 rebounds against Gilbert Higley, 18 points, 19 rebounds against Phoenix Barry Goldwater and 18 points against Glendale Raymond S Kellis.

Eddie Ekpoh, Peoria Sunrise Mountain, G, Jr.

He blocked a 3-point shot to end the game, securing a 71-69 win over rival Peoria Liberty.

Tanner Mayer, Sunrise Mountain, C, Jr.

He had 27 points and 17 rebounds in an 87-81 win over Horizon.

Daniel Lopez, Kellis, F, Jr.

He had 17 points against Phoenix Camelback and 23 against Carl Hayden.

Cassius Carmichael, Glendale Ironwood, G, Sr.

He averaged 21.5 points and 16 rebounds in wins over Glendale Cactus and Tempe McClintock.

Jake Benci, Cave Creek Cactus Shadows, G, Sr.

He had 32 points and six 3-pointers in one half in a win over Peoria Centennial last week.

Juhalwnei Stone, Mesa Dobson, F, Jr.

The 6-6 Stone averaged 21 points in four games in the Yuma Southwest Rotary, losing only game in the final to Surprise Shadow Ridge, 56-54.

Brett Hardt Jr., Rancho Solano Prep, G, So.

He had 16 points, four rebounds, four  assists and two steals against Blue Ridge.

Jake Klingler, Gilbert Classical Academy, G, Sr.

He averaged 29.5 points and 8.5 rebounds and four steals in a 2-0 week.

Ethan Spry, Scottsdale Christian, F, Sr.

He helped SCA beat a tough Pima team, 61-54, and got 3-0 for the week. He missed the first game, but coming back from an injury, he averaged 18.5 points in the last two games.

Reed Myers, Scottsdale Christian, G, Sr.

Coming back from knee surgery that caused him to miss his junior, he averaged 13.3 points in three games. He had 19 assists and one turnover in the three games combined.

Isaac Monroe, Peoria, G, Jr.

In wins over Cottonwood Mingus and Bullhead City Mohave, he averaged 26 points, three assists and four steals.

Josh Holloway, Surprise Valley Vista, G, Sr.

In a win over Mesa Red Mountain, he had 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Philip Kijana, Tucson Catalina, G, Sr.

He averaged 29.7 points during the week that included a 71-69 win over Coolidge.

Nate Pickens, El Mirage Dysart, G, Fr.

He averaged 19 points in wins against Phoenix Washington and Desert Edge.

Daryian Mathews, Dysart, F, So.

He averaged 10 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks in wins over Washington and Desert Edge.

Jason Kimbrough, Phoenix Mountain Pointe, G, So.

In a 56-48 win over Chandler Hamilton, he had 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and one turnover. He scored eight points in the final quarter, hitting back-to-back 3-pointers after his team had fell behind by five points.

DeAndre Henry, Mountain Pointe, F, Jr.

He had 16 points and 14 rebounds against Hamilton.

Jalen Graham, Mountain Pointe, F/C, Sr.

He had six points, 10 rebounds and what coach Kirk Fauske called "six game-changing blocks," in the win over Hamilton.

Jason Harris, Gilbert Higley, F, Jr.

The 6-8 Harris averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds in his first three games to start the season.

Aidyn Albright, Scottsdale Horizon, G, Sr.

He became the school's all-time scoring leader, surpassing 2011 graduate Collin Woods.

Isaiah Freeney, Phoenix South Mountain, G, So.

He had 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over Avondale Agua Fria, then had 24 points, six assists and six steal in a win over Buckeye Verrado.

Deotis Nunn Jr., South Mountain, G, Fr.

He had 12 points and five assists against Agua Fria, and 19 points and five assists against Verrado.

Josh Ursery, Peoria Liberty, G, Sr.

He had games of 27 and 18 points during the week.

Marques Lawrence,  Phoenix Cortez, C, Sr.

He averaged 13 points, 18 rebounds and six blocks in wins over Flagstaff Coconino and Phoenix Thunderbird.

Edin Smjecani, Gilbert Mesquite, C, Sr

In a three-point win over Thunderbird, he had 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Jordan Moody, Scottsdale Christian, G, Sr.

Averaged 15 points on the week.

Isaac Lujan, San Tan Valley Combs, G, So.

He had 21 points, making 8 of 12 shots, and had six rebounds in a 79-62 loss to Phoenix St. Mary's.

Issac Garcia, Tucson Cholla, G, Fr.

He averaged 20 points in three games with a high of 29 points in a win over Tucson Pueblo.

Matur Dhal, Surprise Paradise Honors, F/C, So.

The 6-foot-10 Dhal had 19 points and 11 rebounds in a 55-39 win over American Leadership-Queen Creek.

Jerry Iliya, Paradise Honors, G, Jr.

He had 18 points and eight rebounds against ALA-QC.

Jalen Scott, Paradise Honors, G, So.

He set a single-game steals record with 11 in the ALA-QC win. The previous record was 10 by Adrian Van Cleaf. Scott also had five assists.

Darrien Burnette, Blue Ridge, G, Sr.

He had 25 of his 28 points in the first half, making 11 of 15 shots, in an 82-38 win over Ganado.

Zach Hobbs, Mesa, G, Sr.

In a 44-40 win over Tempe Corona del sol that avenged the title game loss in the Fear The Hop tournament, he had 12 points. He had 16 points in a 52-34 win over Avondale La Joya.

Tony Adame, Mesa, G, Sr.

He had nine of his 19 points in the first quarter against La Joya.

Eric Blackwell, Corona del Sol, G, Jr.

In a 50-36 win over Phoenix Brophy Prep, he had 23 points.

Tomari Harris, Tucson The Gregory School, G, Sr.

He led a 7-0 week that began with a 125-48 win over The Academy of Tucson with 37 points on 17 of 29 shooting.  He then had 28 points in the 1A school's 79-11 win over 2A Santa Rita.

Demari Harris, The Gregory School, G, Sr.

He had games of 25, 19, 12 and nine to start the 7-0 week.

Anderson Mort, The Gregory School, G, Sr.

He had a triple-double against The Academy of Tucson with 10 points, 19 rebounds and 12 assists.

Kevin Daniels, Glendale, G, Jr.

A star running back in football, he averaged 12 points and eight rebounds on the week.
