UPDATE: Road back open after semi carrying soup crashes in Putnam County

UPDATE 7/16/18 @ 9 p.m.

Buffalo Bridge is back open Monday night after an accident involving a semi hauling Campbell's Soup, WV 511 shows.

The accident happened at the bridge off U.S. 35 in the Fraziers Bottom area.

Emergency management officials say the tractor-trailer was carrying 40,000 pounds of Campbell's Soup. The semi did not roll over.

No one was hurt.

Buffalo Bridge in Putnam County is shut down after a semi carrying soup crashed Monday afternoon.

Emergency management officials say the tractor-trailer was carrying 40,000 pounds of Campbell's Soup.

It happened at the bridge off Route 35 in the Fraziers Bottom area.

The emergency management director tells WSAZ a semi was going around a curve when the driver went off the road and crashed.

No one was hurt. The semi did not roll over.
