As a resident of North Kingstown, I am concerned for the public safety of drivers and individuals walking along West Allenton Rd. During times of rain and street flooding I have witnessed drivers crossing the double solid yellow lines in front of 79 West Allenton Rd. I have reported this to our town councilwoman, Ellen Waxman on more than one occasion. The most recent time she referred me to the Town Manager. However I have not received any reply from the Town Manager nor has any action been taken to alleviate this dangerous condition. Tonight is to be another rainy night and I pray that no one is killed. When will this situation finally be alleviated?
