Local governments are offering sandbags for residents to secure their homes as Hurricane Irma approaches. Some areas have run out of sandbags or supplies, and lines are several hours long in some places, so check with your local municipality before going to get any bags.

Here are the details:

Orange County: Sandbags are being given out 7 a.m. -7 p.m. at six locations throughout the county. Up to 10 bags per vehicle are being given out at 18753 Old Cheney Highway, Orlando; 2530 N. Forsyth Rd., Orlando; 4200 S. John Young Pkwy, Orlando; 11442 Intermodal Wy, Orlando; 644 Beulah Rd, Winter Garden; 3400 Golden Gem Rd, Apopka.

Orange County officials said Thursday afternoon that 66,000 sandbags had already been distributed. Mayor Teresa Jacobs said county employees could not stay on beyond 7 p.m. to distribute bags to those in line, adding people will not be able to get in line after a certain point.

Orlando: The city is offering sandbags 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday at 1010 Woods Ave. Be prepared to fill your own bags. Waits were reported for as long as five hours on Thursday. The city opened a second location at the Camping World Stadium 1 Citrus Bowl Pl. You can access the site from Tampa Avenue.

Deland: On Friday. residents are allowed 5 sandbags per vehicle, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the parking lot south of Conrad Park at 555 S. Woodland Boulevard. IDs are required and shovels will be provided.

Ocoee: The city is offering sandbags from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at 301 Maguire Road. Ten bags per household will be given out.

Winter Garden: Sandbags are being offered 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. through Friday at 880 W. Bay St. Up to 10 bags per household.

Seminole County: The county is offering sandbags at three locations7 a.m.- 7 p.m. Up to 15 bags. Sandbags will be available at 3450 East Lake Mary Blvd, Sanford at 2808 St. Johns Parkway, Sanford, and 401 W. Highland St., Altamonte Springs.

Casselberry: The city will offer sandbags 8 a.m.-5 p.m.om 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 115 Wilshire Blvd., Fern Park. Up to 10 bags per household.

Longwood: Sandbags will be offered 7 a.m.-7 p.m. starting Wednesday at 907 East State Road 434. Up to 10 bags per household.

Oviedo: The city will offer sandbags starting 7 a.m.-7 p.m. om 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Round Lake Park, 891 E. Broadway St. Up to 12 bags per household.

Sanford: Sandbags will be offered 7 a.m. a.m. at 800 W. Fulton St. Officials say the bags will be available 24 hours a day.

Osceola County: The county is offering sandbags at eight locations from noon to 7 p.m. at 3850 Old Canoe Creek Road, Saint Cloud; 1698 S. Hoagland Boulevard, Kissimmee; 101 N. Doverplum Avenue, Poinciana; 1 Heritage Park Way, Kissimmee; 420 Buenaventura Boulevard, Kissimmee; 1178 S. Canoe Creek Road, Kenansville; 8801 Community Center Road, Holopaw; 305 Campus Street, Celebration. Residents are allowed

Kissimmee: Sandbags are being offered from noon to 7 p.m. on the corner of Mabbette Street and Alaska Avenue. Residents will be allowed up to 12 bags per household.

St. Cloud: Sandbags are being offered from noon to 7 p.m. at O.P. Johnson Park, 324 Georgia Ave., St. Cloud. Residents will be allowed up to 15 bags per household.

Lake County: Sandbags will be offered starting 7 a.m.- 8 p.m. at Fire Station 10, 23023 State Road 40, Astor; Fire Station 14, 42700 State Road 19, Altoona; Fire Station 39, 31431 Walton Heath Ave., Sorrento; Fire Station 110, 6234 County Road 561, Clermont; and at the Solid Waste Residential Convenience Center, 1200 Jackson St., Lady Lake. Up to 20 bags per household in a 24-hour period.

Eustis: Sandbags are being offered at 100 W. Norton Ave. Up to 10 bags per household.

Groveland: The city is offering sandbags at 450 W. Orange St. Up to 10 bags per household.

Volusia County: Sandbags will be offered 10 a.m.-6 p.m.at five locations throughout the county. Up to 10 bags per vehicle will be given out at 213 N. U.S. 1, Oak Hill; 200 N. State Road 415, Osteen; 132 N. Fountain Drive, Pierson; 3150 E. State Road 44, DeLand; 1354 Indian Lake Road, Daytona Beach.

Daytona Beach: The city is offering sandbags at 950 Bellevue Ave. Up to 10 bags per vehicle.

Deltona: Sandbags are available 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday at 201 Howland Blvd. Up to 10 bags per resident.

Orange City: Sandbags are available 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday at 1201 S. Leavitt Ave. Bring a shovel. Up to 10 bags per household. ID required.

New Smyrna Beach: The city is offering sandbags 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. at 124 Industrial Park Ave, New Smyrna Beach.

Brevard County: Sandbags are being offered 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in four locations starting Wednesday: Chain of Lakes Park, 2300 Truman Scarborough Way, Titusville; Mitchell Ellington Park, 575 Hall Road, Merritt Island; Calvary Chapel Church, 2852 Fellowship Place, Viera; and Max K. Rhodes Park, 3410 Flanagan Ave., West Melbourne.

Melbourne: Sandbags are available 8 a.m. -4 p.m. at 1100 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne. Residents can get up to 10 bags per household.

Polk County: The county is handing out sandbags at more than a dozen locations throughout the county. Some locations do not have bags, so officials are urging residents to bring them along. Up to 30 bags per household are being offered at 14684 US-27, Lake Wales; 126 Cottonwood Dr, Davenport; 2902 FL-60, Lake Wales; 6221 Hogan Ln, Indian Lake Estates; 333 American Spirit Rd, Jan Phyl Village; 900 NE 5th St, Mulberry; Nalcrest Rd, Nalcrest; 200 Commonwealth Blvd. SW, Polk City; 8936 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland; 3030 Sleepy Hill Rd, Lakeland; 4210 Willis Rd, Mulberry;
