Two Brothers Dead Following Shooting, Car Accident In Dallas

Both men died Oct. 24 after one was shot in East Dallas.

DALLAS, TX -- The Dallas Police Department is searching for information regarding the death of a man Oct. 24 in East Dallas. Marco Clewis was found shot inside a home at 4215 Copeland St. at 12:30 a.m., DPD wrote in a news release.

Buris Clewis, the brother of the victim, got into a vehicle and chased after suspects. During the chase, Buris Clewis crashed his vehicle at 3600 Elsie Faye Heggins St., and died of his injuries, DPD said.

The suspects were driving a small white four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Sentra, DPD said.
