Woodinville Man Claims He Was Stabbed, But It's Just Drugs

In his boxer shorts, the man insisted he had a stab wound to his abdomen. Turns out he was just using drugs.

WOODINVILLE, WA - Standing in his boxer shorts in front of a home in Woodinville, the man insisted he had been stabbed in the stomach. But the King County deputies who were there couldn't find one.

One thing the deputies did know: the man had been using methamphetamine.

The strange incident began around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday along Northeast 195th Street. The man was spotted walking along the street trying to flag down cars. He was trying to get help, claiming someone was trying to kill him.

With no motorists stopping to help, the man found an unlocked car and took a first aid kit he found inside. By the time police arrived, they found the man stripped down to his boxers, complaining of a nonexistent stab wound.

The police did not arrest the man. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
