Salem Police: Father Stuffs Daughter In Arcade Game To Steal
Salem police said they are looking for a man who stuffed his daughter inside a Key Master to steal prizes at The Mall at Rockingham Park.
SALEM, NH — Salem police are asking the public's help identifying a man caught on video Friday stuffing his daughter into an arcade game to steal prizes at The Mall at Rockingham Park. The suspect (pictured) was described as a white man in his 20s. Anyone with information is asked to contact Salem police at 603-893-1911.
- Update, September 19, 2018: Salem police said they arrested the suspect in this case.
The thefts happened at the Key Master vending machine game inside the mall Friday at about 6 p.m., according to Salem Police Lieutenant Jason Smith.
"The male subject had the small female toddler climb into the bottom portion of the game, designed for items won by a player to drop, and then reach up and grab various items, handing them to the male subject," Smith said in a statement.

Key Master involves picking a lock to win prizes including iPads, video game, headphones, speakers and other electronics.
Some horrified mallgoers captured the incident on video and called police. The man was seen wearing a Sig Sauer baseball hat, blue shirt, Under Armor belt and brown shoes. He also had a beard. His daughter was described as a toddler and there was another child about 6 years old with the pair, according to Smith.
