WEBVTT EXPLAIN HOW TRAGEDY STRUCK TWICE. REPORTER: THE BOLISH FAMILY ONCE AGAIN FACING A DEVASTATING LOSS HERE IN DERRY TOWNSHIP THEIR HOME AND DECADES OF MEMORIES NOW DESTROYED. THIS LESS THAN TWO MONTHS AFTER THEIR 17-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER WAS KILLED IN A CRASH JUST A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD. THE FLAMES OVERWHELMING. SHERRY AND MIKE AND THEIR 17-YEAR-OLD SON WOKEN UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND SOMEHOW ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT. >> HE HAS EARNED -- BURNED HIS CORNEAS. THEY ARE PAINFUL. HE HAS A BIG BURN ON HIS BACK. HE IS A BURN ON HIS RIGHT ARM. HE HAS CUTS BECAUSE HE HAD TO DIVE OUT OF THE WINDOW TO GET OUT. THEY HAVE NOTHING. THEY WERE OUT THERE AND THEIR BIG FEATS. REPORTER: THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION. THE LOSS IS ANOTHER HEARTBREAK FOR THE FAMILY. IN AUGUST, THEIR DAUGHTER WAS A PASSENGER WHEN THE CAR CRASHED A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD. SHE DIED AT THE SCENE. HER OLD ROOM JUST THE WAY SHE LEFT IT, NOW GONE. >> THAT’S WHERE THE MEMORIES OF OUR DAUGHTER WHERE. THAT’S REALLY HARD FOR THEM. SO MUCH AS HAPPENED. IT IS REALLY HARD. Fire destroys home along Route 982

Fire destroyed a home in Derry Township early Saturday morning, and for the family inside, the loss marked the second tragedy in less than two months.Sherri and Mike Bolish and their 17 year-old son were able to escape the fire. Mike Bolish suffered the most severe injuries of the three according to his sister, Joanna Shandel. "He has burns to his corneas, and they are really painful," Shandel said. "He has a big burn on his back, and a burn on his right arm and he has cuts from diving out a window to get out."The Bolish's home was destroyed and the family believes two dogs died in the fire.The loss, yet another heartbreak for the family.Marissa Bolish, Sherri and Mike's 17 year-old daughter, died when the car she was a passenger in crashed just a few miles from their home in August. Her old room was still just the way she left it, until the fire."That's where the memories of their daughter were, so that's really hard for them," Shandel said. "How do you, one tragedy after the other, what do you do?"The family said it's not clear yet what caused the fire. Roadman's Country Living Shop has set up a donation box to help collect items for the family, and a GoFundMe page has been started to help the family.
