The Harry Potter cast was all smiles at this year’s MTV Movie Awards held Sunday night at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Actress Helena Bonham Carter may have been absent for the annual celebration, but this didn’t stop the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 from taking home the best cast and best hero awards.

Receiving the honor for Bonham Carter and the rest of the Harry Potter crew was actress Emma Watson, who was overjoyed with the golden popcorn trophy.

“I don’t think I will ever accept an award on behalf of so many people,” Watson said happily. “From Ralph Fiennes to Helena Bonham Carter to Hedwig and Dobby and all of them, this is amazing.”

The English actress, who showed off her toned legs in a short mini-dress and black heels, said it would have been nice to have all “200 cast members… be up here with me now” on stage receiving the accolade.

“Obviously I share this award in particular with [Daniel Radcliffe] and Rupert [Grint],” Watson added.

“Wherever you are, I hope you’re watching, and I miss you both dearly. Just, thank you. I really, really appreciate it.”

The annual event was hosted by funnyman Russell Brand, who joked about celebrity marriages such as Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ to his own short lived union with superstar singer Katy Perry.

Brand also poked fun at Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s altercation with paparazzo José Sarros and also put Charlie Sheen on the spot.

“Justin Bieber beat up a paparazzi. Well done, Justin!” said Brand. “Justin, though, is so pretty that even if he were attacking me I would do a little orgasm.”

“I need someone in this audience more unstable and reckless than me to do something stupid and start jeopardizing my green card. That someone is obviously Charlie Sheen,” Brand yelled from the stage.

“Charlie, you do look well and relatively sober, so what I’ve done is taped a bottle of Hennessy and a gram of coke under your chair,” he added.

The action-filled Hunger Games won awards for best fight and best on-screen transformation along with best female and best male performances for lead actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

“I’ve wanted to hold a golden popcorn since I was four years old,” Hutcherson said with all smiles.

The vampire-and-wolf filled saga Twilight took home the awards for Best kiss, performed by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison. This is the fourth year consecutively that Stewart and Pattison has won the smooching honor.

“God, Rob’s not here, you guys. I don’t really know what to do,” Stewart said as she accepted the award from veteran actress and mentor Jodie Foster. She then pretended to make out with herself.
