Two students from the same North Carolina town injured in UNC Charlotte shooting

Two Apex, North Carolina, residents are among the victims in a shooting at UNC Charlotte.

Sean DeHart, 20, and Drew Pescaro, 19, were injured in the shooting.

Sean DeHart is a graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh. He graduated from the Catholic prep school in 2017, said Jason Curtis, the school's principal.

"We’re praying for the entire community,” Curtis said, adding that he also has a son at UNC Charlotte.

He said the school is helping DeHart’s family with keeping their privacy. “That part is obviously difficult,” he said.

DeHart was treated and released from the hospital Tuesday.

Drew Pescaro was a graduate of Middle Creek High School in Apex. Pescaro played on the school's football team, according to twitter post from the team account.
