Arrow Films will release on Blu-ray Tales of Halloween (2015), starring Barry Bostwick, Darren Lynn Bousman, Axelle Carolyn, Caroline Williams, Robert Rusler, Clare Kramer, Greg Grunberg, Daniel DiMaggio, Ben Stillwell, and Natalie Castillo. The release will be available for purchase on October 24.
Synopsis: Named "the best horror anthology since Trick 'r Treat" by Fangoria and "among the best Halloween-themed horror movies ever made" by DailyDead, Tales of Halloween weaves together ten chilling tales from horror's top directors including Neil Marshall (The Descent), Lucky McKee (The Woman) and Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III & IV).
Watch in terror as ghosts, ghouls, monsters, aliens, axe murderers and the devil himself delight in terrorising unsuspecting residents of one American suburban neighbourhood across one heart-stopping Halloween night.
Special Features:
Deleted Scene (Grim Grinning Ghost)
Behind-The-Scenes (Sweet Tooth)
Anatomy of a Scene (Friday the 31st)
Fun Facts (Pop-on video commentary for selected segments)
Photo Gallery
Behind-The-Scenes of Bad Seed
Storyboards (Ding Dong)
Exclusive Blu-ray Bonus Features:
2-3 Video Diaries for each segment of the anthology, featuring interviews with the directors, cast, and crew, and sneak peeks behind the scenes on set (60 mins approx)
Exclusive shorts from Neil Marshall, Axelle Carolyn, Lucky McKee, Andrew Kasch & John Skipp and Ryan Schifrin
How many discs is this? It looks to have everything on the 4-disc U.S. release coming in September. I believe that version has 1 blu-ray, 1 dvd, 1 cd (soundtrack), and another dvd with bonus features. Are the dvd bonus features on this version going to be on blu-ray (in HD or still standard def?)? I also saw no mention of audio commentaries on the U.S. release, so are those exclusive to this release? Everything else seems to be the same between the two as far as special features go.
Not sure which version will be the one to get here...
