HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Eun-Hee Ji left it late, but stormed to the front of the pack as Round 2 of the 2019 LOTTE Championships came to a close.

The 32-year-old South Korean star put together a superb day both on the fairway and on the green, recording a -7 on the day to put her at -15 heading into Friday’s round with a two-stroke lead.

Ji was on fire during her last nine holes, hitting four birdies and an eagle to put herself ahead of 20-year-old Nelly Korda, who led for the majority of the day.

Entering Thursday atop the leaderboard, Korda was -4 in the second round and finished with a -13 just ahead of Minjee Lee and last year’s winner Brooke Henderson at -11.

Perhaps the most impressive shot of the day came Angel Yin who holed in one of the craziest shots you’ll ever see.

Call it luck, call it skill, the ball still went in the hole and counted on her scorecard.
