Toby Keith's Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic fundraiser has raised nearly $1.2 million, according to a press release.
The 13th annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic raised $1.175 million to be exact. The weekend's festivities featured a Denim & Diamonds gala with music from Asleep at the Wheel and also included a celebrity golf tournament and an auction. Auction items included a rare, signed Elvis Presley album and a bow-and-rifle hunt in South Africa, as well as music memorabilia from Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and more country stars.
The annual event raises money for the Toby Keith Foundation, which is recognized as one of the largest childhood cancer charities in the country and provides support and housing for families of patients at the OK Kids Korral.
