The Hershey Symphony Orchestra is marking the Independence Day with its 10th annual free concert and fireworks show. It will be on the lawn of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center on July 4.

The orchestra will perform “An American Salute” at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at  10 p.m. Complimentary water and ice cream will be provided by Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and other food and drinks will be sold by various vendors.

“It is a holiday tradition for the community to celebrate Independence Day with our concert on the lawn of the Medical Center, it’s a great event for everyone” said Hershey Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Paul Metzger.

The first half of the concert will feature a mixed selection of music including music from Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park and Disney’s Frozen. For the second half of the concert, the Orchestra will present “A Salute to America,” accompanied by Hershey Symphony Orchestra vocalists.
