3 Arrested In Armed Robbery Of Haddon Township Man: Police

Three Gloucester County residents are accused of the armed robbery of a Haddon man during a cell phone sale earlier this month.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three Gloucester County residents have been arrested in the armed robbery of a Haddon Township man who was attempting to sell his cell phone, police said on Tuesday.

The victim told the Haddon Township Police Department on April 2 that he had made plans via Snapchat to meet a friend from high school to sell him his cellular phone. Instead, the friend and two other people robbed him at gunpoint, police said. They took the man’s phone and escaped in a green 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk.

After a thorough investigation, police identified the three suspects. On April 9, a search warrant for the suspect’s home in Mantua Township was obtained and executed by Gloucester County SWAT, police said.
After the search, three people were taken into custody, including Jerry Brooks, 41, and Erik Palumbo, 24, both of Mantua Township; and Joseph Juliano, 18, of Swedesboro. They were taken to Haddon Township police headquarters for further investigation.
