Lebanon man accused of raping 5-year-old girl

A Lebanon city man has been charged with raping a 5-year-old girl.

Nelson Cuevas, 36, of Lebanon, is accused of raping the girl sometime in October 2017.

What happened?

The incident was revealed about a year later when the victim was playing a game called "Secrets" with an 11-year-old girl, according to the criminal complaint against Cuevas.

During the game, the 5-year-old told the other girl Cuevas went into her bedroom, woke her up, and raped her.

The victim told Lebanon County detectives Cuevas "did something really wrong last year," the criminal complaint states.

Cuevas allegedly took the girl to the bathroom and raped her again while taking a bath with her.

The victim told police this "hurted" and said she was crying when this happened, according to the criminal complaint.

After the bath, he took her to the living room, put her on the couch and sexually assaulted her a third time.

Cuevas is charged with:

  • Rape of a child.
  • Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.
  • Indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
  • Corruption of minors.
  • Endangering welfare of children - parent/guardian/other commits offense.

He is incarcerated in Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $200,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 27.
