Hessle Road is shut in both directions after a crash this afternoon.

The road is closed between Rawling Way and Boulevard following a two-car crash, close to its junction with Strickland Street.

The closure adds to a number of traffic problems across Hull on rush hour Friday.

Beverley Road is closed in both directions just before the Clough Road junction after a "man was hit by two cars".

Cranbrook Avenue is also closed following a separate collision.
