New research found that losing weight could reduce a woman’s chance of developing breast cancer after menopause.
That’s according to a study published in the journal “Cancer.”
It found that post-menopausal women who shed pounds saw a 12 percent reduction in their breast cancer risk.
Meanwhile, women who gained weight had a 54 percent high chance of developing a rare form of the disease.
