You again?

Police in New Jersey arrested the same man twice in a single day for charges related to driving while intoxicated, according to NorthJersey.com.

Richard B. Haskell was approached by authorities in Ramsey on Sept. 23 at around 7:42 a.m. after they received complaints that a person was unresponsive in a vehicle at a local pond, Chief Bryan Gurney said in a press release obtained by the outlet.

He was woken up by Sgt. Timothy Shoemaker, who reportedly smelled alcohol on his breath. The officer also spotted a clear bottle of liquor between Haskell’s legs.

Haskell, 71, was given a field sobriety test and charged with DWI and having an open container of alcohol in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.

According to NorthJersey.com, his blood alcohol content was .21 percent at the time.

Unfortunately, that was only the first time police would have to deal with Haskell that day.

According to police, Haskell drove to the police department just after 12 p.m. that day in the hopes of finding out whether his car from the earlier arrest could be released.

When authorities again detected alcohol on Haskell’s breath, another field sobriety test was administered, which found that Haskell was .14 – still over the legal limit to drive.

He was arrested again and charged with another DWI.

Haskell will appear in court on Oct. 24.
