There will be blood: Lisa Hochstein posted a quartet of images showing her undergoing a 'vampire' facial at her husband Lenny's practice on Instagram - then offered her followers a discount

The process: Lisa showed her online followers how her skin looked during, and after, the facial

With an eye for a buck, the 31-year-old cheekily offered her 181,729 followers a 10 per cent discount on the cost of the $950 treatment if they mentioned her name.

The facial is the newest fad in Hollywood, with fans including Kim Kardashian - who underwent one on her reality show. A sample of the patient's blood is separated into a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) using a centrifuge.

The plasma is then combined with Restylane or Juvederm, and injected into the face to stimulate collagen production to create new skin and remove fine lines and acne scars.

Lisa said she tried it after hearing 'amazing reviews' about it. A lengthy Instagram caption posted Friday along with the images promoted both the procedure and Dr Hochstein.

The blonde said: 'Today at my husband's office I tried the "prp" platelet rich plasma facial aka the "vampire facial " after hearing such an amazing reviews about it .

'It's your own blood plasma that is enriched with platelets injected into the skin. Prp contains several different growth factors and cytokines that stimulate healing of bone and tissue.'

And she added: 'Basically gives you a beautiful plump youthful glow. My skin immediately felt tighter, firmer and The difference in texture in tone was noticeable.'

'To any of you haters that say I look older than my age (some have ever said over 40!), you are a clown. I look younger than most girls in their 20s. To the rest love you.'

There were certainly no apparent needle marks on Saturday when the star took to a bulldozer to begin demolishing the 1925 historic mansion she and Lenny bought in 2012 for  less than $8 million.

They recently won the right to tear the Spanish-style house down after objections from local preservationists were dismissed and they spared no time getting on with demolition. It was built by Walter deGarmo, Florida's first registered architect.

The Hochsteins are planning to replace it with a 20,000-square-foot mega-mansion with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, a games room, a wine cellar, five-car garage and a guest house.
