Salt Lake City — (KUTV) Make-A-Wish Utah visited Fresh Living to discuss a recent Celebrity Wish that was granted and their Upcoming Evening of Wishes Gala.
18-year-old Makelle's Wish was for a Private Concert from David Archuleta. David Archuleta has been one of Makelle's idols since she was little and his music kept her going as she battled a congenital liver disorder. Makelle said it was the best day of her life. Makelle is on the waiting list for a liver transplant. This is the first private concert wish David Archuleta has granted.
Make-A-Wish Utah hopes to be able to grant many more wishes through their Evening of Wishes Gala.
The Black-Tie Gala will be Saturday, April 9th at The Grand America Hotel. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm with a cocktail/mocktail reception & silent auction. The evening continues with dinner, featured wish kids and live entertainment from Comedian Jeff Civillico from Vegas. Something BIG is happening during the program, but you have to be there to find out what. The night concludes with music and dancing with DJ Rob of Life of the Party Entertainment.
