In a gathering of a cross section of community stakeholders – from educators to parents to elected leaders and drug rehabilitation professionals – the Coalition for McKinney Drug Free Youth launched Monday at the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.

More than 30 people came together to hear coalition president Paul Chabot and Sheriff Jim Skinner talk about the issue of substance use in the area “to help provide feedback as we work together to identify problems so that we can do one thing and one thing well, and that is to measurably reduce drug use throughout this region,” Chabot said.
