Lanes on I-70 West reopen after rollover crash at I-75 interchange

VANDALIA — UPDATE @ 4:40 a.m.: 

All lanes of Interstate 70 West at the Interstate 75 interchange have reopened after an early-morning rollover crash.

State troopers continue to block all but the far right lane of Interstate 70 West at the Interstate 75 interchange following an early morning rollover crash.

The car hit the trailer of a semi-truck, causing the car to roll before coming to rest on its top on the median wall, investigators said.

The driver of the car, only identified as a woman, was not injured in the crash.

Troopers are investigating what caused the crash and who might be at fault. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.

FIRST REPORT

State troopers and fire crews have responded to a rollover crash, reported on Interstate 70 West, at the Interstate 75 interchange Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the highway around 2:15 a.m. after the crash was reported.

Initial reports indicate no one inside the car suffered injuries, according to emergency scanner traffic.

The crash also might have involved a semi-truck, initial reports indicate.

State troopers are blocking the left and center lanes, leaving only the far right lane open.
