BROMSGROVE Sporting's lead at the top of the Midland League Premier Division was reduced to one point after they were held 2-2 by Heanor Town.
But Sporting still have a game in hand on second-placed Coleshill Town who closed the gap with a 4-0 home win over Rugby Town.
Luke Dugmore fired Bromsgrove into a fifth-minute lead at the Victoria Ground in front of 570 fans.
Jamie Sleigh levelled on 17 minutes and Sam Vickers fired Heanor in front on 62.
But Sean Brain equalised for Sporting in the 69th minute as they remained nine points in front of Worcester City in third.
Fourth-placed Sporting Khalsa fell 4-2 at Long Eaton United and Highgate United in fifth went down 2-0 at Shepshed Dynamo.
Westfields beat mid-table rivals Stourport Swifts 2-1 through Kingsford Adjei's winner two minutes from time.
Craig Jones fired Fields ahead on 52 minutes with Jack Rogers levelling on 78 in front of 90 fans.
In Division One, Pershore Town lost 4-0 at home to title-chasing Ilkeston Town and Littleton fell 1-0 at Lichfield City.
Malvern Town, Worcester Raiders and Bromyard Town were all denied by the weather in the West Midlands League.
