All tacos are beautiful — whether you prefer a shell that’s soft or one with a crunch, or carne asada, carnitas or al pastor inside. And tacos will be the main attraction of Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa’s Taco Fest on May 18.
The event, now in its third year, runs 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and will features tacos from more than 25 chefs and vendors from Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, including Jalisco’s Mobile Taco Grill, Rosa Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, Mapuche Native Argentinian Food of Los Angeles and White Rabbit Filipino Fusion Kitchen.
The event will not only offer tacos, but also salsas and guacamole, premium tequila and margaritas. There will be a hot pepper eating contest, live bands and matches by masked Lucha Libre wrestlers.
Tickets, which are $10, are available for sale through Ticketmaster as well as by calling the Morongo Box Office at 866-328-2018. Tacos and drinks are sold separately.
