Learn how to spot fake news
In an era of fake news, how do you discern what information is factual?
In a series of free classes, Daily Herald editors and District 214 journalism teachers will educate you on how to identify lies, spin and bias that masquerade as news.
Learn how words, photos, audio recordings and even video can be faked, and why reputable journalists don't do so. Hear how a news organization operates, and pretend you're the editor weighing the day's news.
