Beverly Buys, a Hot Springs-based photographer, won the Polly Wood Crews Scholarship from the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
David Goodman, a licensed practical nurse, won the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
Gino Goss was nominated for Easy Listening and R&B Producer of the Year and Rap/Hip-Hop Producer of the Year by the Indie Music Channel Awards. He won Easy Listening Producer of the Year.
Angela Wang and Nikita Das, president and vice president of the Little Rock Central High School Junior Civitan Club, were awarded scholarships by the Little Rock Civitan Club. They plan to study at Stanford University and Columbia University, respectively.
