Just in time for Memorial Day parties, Amazon Prime Now is delivering beer and wine in a jiffy to South Florida doorsteps.

The service for Prime members offers hundreds of wine and beer products, including brews from South Florida’s own Funky Buddha, for free two-hour delivery to South Broward and Miami-Dade addresses, according to a news release. One-hour delivery is available for $7.99. The service also is being rolled out in Orlando.

Customers can log on to Amazon.com/PrimeNow or download the free Prime Now mobile app to see if deliveries are available in their area, available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Amazon started delivering thousands of perishable foods and household essentials in June after opening a 50,000-square-foot processing hub in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami. Delivery areas inlcude select ZIP codes in Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Miami-Dade County.

The Seattle-based company has not announced plans to expand the service, available to those who pay a $119 annual fee, into other parts of South Florida.

On May 16, Amazon announced Florida Prime members will get deep discounts at Whole Foods Market, which the internet retailer acquired in August. It said it plans to expand the discounts to all its markets and Whole Foods Market 365 stores nationwide in the summer.
