Tax-free Weekend in Texas is Aug. 10-12.
During the annual sales tax holiday, shoppers can buy clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks tax-free!
This applies to anything sold for less than $100.
The holiday begins Friday, Aug. 10 and goes through midnight on Sunday, Aug. 12.
For those hoping to shop, the Waco Transit System is offering Free Fare Day on Aug. 11 for Tax-free Weekend. Riders will get free bus rides on the fixed route system.
Free Fare Day is sponsored by Waco Transit and Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas.
